Sparta Cobra Belt
Designed to hold up BDU’s and tactical pants with style and sophistication, the Sparta Cobra Belt features
a tapered, 1000 denier Cordura reinforced front attachment loop and the load rated Austri Alpin Cobra
buckle. The front attachment loop protrudes from the belt face, facilitating easy access for clipping with a
locking carabiner or snap shackle, making attachment easy for personal security while flying in an aircraft.
The belt webbing is durable US woven 1.75” wide nylon, it’s double layers sandwiched around a high
density polyethylene inner layer for stiffness, preventing collapse when strapping mission essentials to the
belt. Misty Mountain’s Sparta Cobra belt closes with a 45 mm Austri Alpin Cobra buckle, rated to 4,000
lbs (18 kN) in the loop formation. This high quality bayonette style buckle opens by squeezing two tabs on
opposite sides of the buckle simultaneously. Velcro finish on the tail webbing keeps the belt neat and
webbing in place. Strength rated to 3,000 lbs (13 kN), Misty Mountain’s Sparta Cobra Belt will hold up
tactical pants, provide a secure attachment point for tethering to the inside of an aircraft, and serve as a
sturdy mount for mag pouch, holster, radio or other equipment. Under situations of duress where a sit
harness is not available, the Sparta Cobra belt is suitable for short, emergency rappels, but always ensure
the belt buckle is securely closed prior to weighting the belt.
