Designed specifically for alpine climbing, mountaineering and traversing glaciers, the Summit features a drop-seat design that can be donned while wearing skis or crampons. The die cut waist belt provides minimalist padding, two downturned gear loops, carabiner slots for ice screws and a rear haul loop. Adjustable drop-seat leg loops allow the versatility needed in an alpine environment, and the leg loop holdup adjusters are located below the waist to prevent them from jamming into your back underneath a heavy pack. The Summit is a lightweight, well designed alpine harness that will provide security for all your adventures in the big mountains. *Carabiner not included*

The harness seemed burly but the bar tacks in the front dug into my hip bones way too much when worn under a pack - bruises :(. One trip and it was a hard no for me. Could just be a quirk for my body, but the bar tacks are exceptionally wide, thick, and stiff so I would tend to think it will transfer to many others as well. I love their Cadillac, but I'd go elsewhere for an alpine harness. Luckily Misty uses good materials and I have used most of the harness for spare parts for repairs.
Bought this harness for a Denali trip. Great service from Goose and the crew. Harness is the perfect balance of minimalist/lightweight without being uncomfortable butt-floss if you actually have to load it for a bit unlike most of the other Alpine Harnesses on the market these days. Made out of Nylon and well-proven materials with history of surviving years of use/abuse.
