Description

For big walls, Misty Mountain’s Titan is the perfect harness. Twice as thick dual density foam puts a soft cushy layer against the climber. Wide sub layers spread forces out over the waist and leg loops creating a super comfortable harness for all day climbing. Light enough for stepping out of the aiders and into some hard free-climbing, the Titan is a big waller’s dream harness.

Excellent comfort, great custom design options

I ordered a custom Titan as a gift for a partner and am so happy with the purchase. It was great to be able to spec it out to exactly what he needed and the harness has now served him well on multiple big wall trips in Yosemite. He loves how comfortable it is and the custom colors look great.

Bomber, comfy, worth it!

If you're spending time in the harness, there's nothing more comfy and bomber than the Titan. An excellent aid harness, awesome bolting harness, and a great cush free climbing harness too. Great combo of full support and mobility. The design is proven and it just works. Hey, good stuff takes time, so plan ahead. It's worth it.

Ridiculous turnaround time and not even custom

I've been an advocate and customer of Misty for over 22 years. I ordered a simple standard Titan harness. It took over a month and a half to be delivered. When I reached out, they stated that they could have 8 week lead times but that was stated no where on the site aside from the "custom harness builder". Being it that I didn't order a custom harness, I figured asking for some customizations and paying for them wouldn't be out of the questions since it had already been over a month and they still haven't started building it. They told me no customizations could be made. All around, Misty was always my go to for custom harnesses and steps. They've gotten bigger and now don't handle things like this anymore. Goose, if you're reading this, I hope one day you guys get back to your roots to deliver customization requests since you still state that you offer them on your website. Lastly, the Titan could use some updating. It hasn't changed in decades ultimately. Speed buckles and option for fixed leg loops should be standard. And if you are offering harnesses ready made to ship, then they should be that. I needed this rig for a trip and would I have known it was going to take months to get a non custom harness, I would've just ordered a Shield from Yates.
